 Singapore's Green IT Survey 2008 Detailed Report

Green IT holds significant growth potential as it not only entails energy savings across different business and industries, but reduced resource consumption and the proper disposal of e-wastes. With the adoption of green IT and energy efficient technology, SBF sees the potential of better energy efficiency and thus lower energy costs for businesses, and more importantly as one of the key contributing components in making Singapore an energy efficient economy.
To further raise awareness and promote adoption in green IT practices under the overarching theme of Sustainable Development, SBF held an inaugural Green IT Award in May 2010 to give recognition to Singapore based enterprises with outstanding sustainable IT practices.
